In this experiment, a voltmeter is used as the null detector and it is placed as shown in Fig. 1. The Wheatstone bridge achieves equilibrium when the following condition is satisfied and no current flows through the voltmeter. PART I
Find the value of an unknown resistor using the Wheatstone bridge.
equipment
Fixed resistors
Variable resistor
Multimeter
evidence card
DC power supply
Connection cables
PART I
a- Connect the circuit as shown in Fig.1, using a potentiometer for a known resistance Rs.
b- Balance the bridge by moving the potentiometer slider.
c- The current flow (or voltage drop) through the voltmeter must be zero.
d- When the bridge is in the balanced state, measure R1, R2, Rs and Rx using a digital multimeter.
e- Use the Wheatstone bridge relation and determine Rx.
f- Find the error in the resistance value and record these readings in Table 1.
PART II
a- Repeat this experiment twice for two different values of Rs by rebalancing the bridge according to the new resistance values.- Esta es la mejor manera de resolver el problema.Solución
